Brent Cherry has a unique set of counselling skills, developed over 25 years, primarily in narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness based stillness meditation, to help you to live a happier and more connected life. Brent works with grief and sorrow, depression and anxiety, and teaches non violent communication, relaxation and stress management to improve your wellbeing. While his relationship counselling, will assist you to build an emotionally safe, securely attached, respectful, exciting and flourishing relationship. His counselling approach is formulated by the latest research into happiness, grief, attachment theory, trauma recovery, resilience and positive psychology. He works with individuals (men and women) and with couples.

Mindfulness Meditation with Counselling
After many years practicing mindfulness meditation, for his own wellbeing and to assist him to manage the death of a partner, Brent trained as a Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation Teacher at the Gawler Cancer Foundation, in Victoria, Australia. Mindfulness meditation, body awareness, emotional awareness and self compassion meditations are all part of Brent's counselling practice. These mindfulness meditation practices will assist you to improve your wellbeing as you learn to decouple from your thinking mind, as you relax and de-stress. You can also learn how to lessen the grip that depression and anxiety can have on your life. Mindfulness meditation can also assist you to live a more wholehearted life and to live with more compassion towards your self and others.
