A reflective supervision practice:

 

Brent Cherry has many years experience providing supervision to multiple agencies and individuals including: lawyers, counsellors, addiction counsellors, non violence counsellors, community workers, residential home care workers, employment advisors and community outreach workers. Brent offers supervision to a wide group of practitioners. He has a unique set of counselling skills, combining narrative therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, mindfulness based meditation, focusing and appreciative inquiry, which he combines with his learning's from social, trauma, resilience and positive psychology and behaviour change research. He has been a trainer, group work facilitator, relationship and individual counsellor, working in prisons, youth institutions, in community based treatment and workplaces - including non violence, assertiveness and conflict resolution. He has specialised in trauma recovery and non violence.

 

His supervision is an opportunity to reflect on your practice and the impact it is having on your life, to explore your practice from a mindful, aware place, to develop emotional agility, to become a safe, appropriate and well (internally and externally) resourced practitioner.

Supervision hours: Brent runs his Lower Hutt Practice on a Monday,Tuesday and his Kapiti practice on a Wednesday and Thursday.

Lower Hutt -  First floor, 217 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Paraparaumu - First Floor, Coastlands, Paraparaumu.

Fees: Brent's supervision rate is $115.00 (incl GST) - per session, to be paid at the end of each session - cash, cheque or internet banking.
